Feels So Good by Chuck Mangione (Genre: Jazz, Easy Listening, Trumpet)
From Mangione’s smash album of the same name – Feels So Good (1977).

Garden Song by Sally Anne Morgan (Genre: Folk, Americana)
Morgan, formerly a member of the Black Twig Pickers, makes her solo debut with this lovely folk album – Threads (2020).

Little Red Rooster by Sam Cooke (Genre: R&B, Sixties R&B)
A terrific version of the blues classic, composed by Chester Burnett (aka Howlin’ Wolf) and Willie Dixon, from Cooke’s classic album Night Beat (1963).
And as a bonus, here is the original version by Howlin’ Wolf!

Little Red Rooster by Howlin’ Wolf (Genre: Blues)
Also playing on the track is the songs’ co-writer, bassist Willie Dixon and blues guitar master Hubert Sumlin. The song is from Wolf’s second album Howlin’ Wolf (1962) (AKA The Rockin’ Chair album).

A hit for Sun Records and a classic fifties song, from the era when musicians were mixing swing with R&B to produce a new art form – Rock n’ Roll!

An upbeat song, musically, with interesting lyrics! From Cash’s classic concept album, Ride This Train (1960).

Tijuana Taxi by Herb Alpert (Genre: Easy Listening, Trumpet)
From the group’s classic album !!Going Places!! (1965).

Symphony No. 3 in D Major, D. 200: II. Allegretto performed by the B’Rock Ensemble & conducted by René Jacobs (Genre: Classical)
A fresh and bright interpretation Schubert’s 1 & 2 symphonies can be found on the aptly titled new album, Schubert 2 & 3, by the Belgian group B’Rock.
