Join Us For Our Crystal City Creators Series!

Throughout 2016 the library will be co-hosting the 2016 Crystal City Creators series. The series consists of free art programs for adults held on select Saturdays.

In April & May we’ve got two great programs on deck – read on for details!

If you’re interested in learning how to make alterations to your clothing or learning how to use perspective to draw then we have two great programs for you!

Alterations with Tat, a program that will show you the ropes of altering your clothing so it fits you to the proverbial T, is scheduled for this Saturday, April 23 and Basic Rules of Perspective with Laura Charles, a program focusing on using perspective to draw, will be held on May 21.

Both programs will run from noon to 3:00 p.m.

Technology Sessions @ Corning Senior Center – April 21 & April 28

Just a reminder tomorrow, Thursday, April 21, is the first of our two April technology sessions for seniors at the Corning Senior Center.

We’ll have tablets and e-readers on hand that you can try out, or, you can bring your own tablet, e-reader or smartphone and ask us any questions have!

3 D Printer Demo: Curious about what a 3 D Printer is and what it does? Drop by the Reference & Technology Desk one Saturday each month to see! We’ll have one of our 3 D Printers on display busily creating 3 D printed objects, we’ll offer information on our new Makerspace – Creation Station and we’ll even have a handful of 3 D Printed items to pass out that you can take and share with your friends (first come, first served!).
