Our Suggested Listening postings focus on the music of the past, with a few new songs mixed in for good measure.

I Want To Be A Cowboy’s Sweetheart by Patsy Montana (Genre: Classic Country, Country)

Patsy’s biggest hit, from 1935, available on the album The Best of Patsy Montana (Collector’s Choice label).

Reaching Out To You by Snow Patrol (Genre: Pop, Rock)

Introspective pop from the band’s 2020 release Fireside Sessions.

Rondo alla Mambo by Sarah Willis (Classical)

From French horn player Sarah Willis’s new album Mozart Mambo (2020) – upbeat and dance-able!

Sealed With A Kiss by Bryan Hyland (Genre: Pop, Vocal)

A classic song of summer, originally released in 1962 and available on the album Bryan Hyland’s Greatest Hits.

Tecumseh Valley by Townes Van Zandt (Genre: Country, Folk)

From one of Van Zandt’s best albums, Live At the Old Town Quarter (1977).
