  1. Some really good ones here! I’ve always loved Freddy King – Wash Out is one of my favorites.

    Sam Butera sure had fun with Louis Prima and Keely Smith. I’d never heard his version of this.

    I had to look up Redhead Express. A nice mix of voices.

    Mary Chapin Carpenter had some big hits when I was working in Country radio. Had a chance to interview her once – she’s kinda deep.

    You can’t go wrong with Joni!

    I’d also never heard of Marcia Ball and Roomful of Blues – will be checking out more of their stuff.

    Loreena McKennitt has such a unique voice. I remember first hearing the Mummer’s Dance and had to go get her album.
